In 2015 New Horizons gained a new friend and supporter.

This is a very valiant and generous lady by the name of Sue Slater.

3 years ago when Sue retired from full time work she decided to take up running as a hobby to keep her fit.
Well that proved to be as much a benefit to New Horizons as it was to Sue. She chose to run the Wilmslow half marathon and the Manchester 10K to raise funds for the boat.
As we are a charity we rely totally on donations and to date Sue has raised an astonishing £1000.
It the midst of training and raising funds for the New Horizons, Sue has also been organising her wedding in Spain that took place early July.
Every person involved with the New Horizons wish Sue and her new husband the very very best in their life together.
And we all want to say a massive THANK YOU for every penny you have raised Sue, it  will go to the continued support and pleasure of every person who gets the opportunity to take a trip on New Horizons.

Thank you Joan for the update.
