Revitalising the Mooring.

If you've been down to the mooring recently you are sure to have seen the wonderful work done by some of our volunteers in order to make our mooring an attractive place to await your trip on the boat.

The planting areas have been revitalised and developed under the leadership of Glynis Watson, a volunteer who joined us a little over a year ago, she certainly has an eye for colour  and has given the mooring a colourful overhaul. The plantings have been further embellished by her husband Ian, whose handiwork has provided a number of attractive wooden planters  now utilised along the quayside, Ian also volunteers on the boat as a crew member.

Paul, another volunteer has also procured for us a new sign, seen from the canal, advertising who we are to passing boaters.

Our thanks go to all three for their efforts in supporting New Horizons.
